Assingment 1... 2nd Nine Weeks

The Holocaust was a brutal time for all Jews. Most spent 12 years of their lives in a game of what you might call " Hide and Seek". They had to hide in shelters or in others peoples houses that they did not know. If a Nazi was to find out that they were hiding a Jew in their house everyone would be murdered. No one was actually safe during 1933 - 1945.

Assignment 8

I chose Monica because she has the hard part in this story. She has a son back at home and she cant see him grow up. To me seeing your kids grow up when they are little is so much better then dealing with them when they get older. When i read that Monica's family told her son that she was dead and they did not care for her anymore it hurt me. I could not believe that they would do something like that that is totally unhuman. Monica is a tough person.

♥Do Not Stand at My Grave and Weep♥

Do not stand at my grave and weep,I am not there, I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glint on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you wake in the morning hush,I am the swift, uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft starlight at night.
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there, I did not die!

Assignment 7

After looking at the pictures I now realize how bad child prostitution is. I mean waiting in line to rape small girls. That’s DISGUSTING!!! I would do almost anything to help those poor girls out. I’m honestly grossed out by such sordid men. That is so inhumane, and anyone who does this shall be thrown in jail and never to be free once again. I am really angry about this situation. Our next president better do something about this.

Assignment 3

From what I have read in "Sold" I honestly think that it is man vs. man. I think this because Lakshmi has to "fight" with the other girls for customers, plus she also has to fight her soul to let herself give her own body to disgusting men. I say this because when you read you get the vibe that she hates herself for doing this digusting thing.

♥One of Them♥ {pg.124} ♥ Any Man, Every Man♥ { pg. 227}
☺" I decide to... it is unbearable" ☺ "I wil be with them all"
